Headband deterioration can happen due to different factors such as the oils in your hair or skin, sweat and most commonly hair product. It's best to wipe down the headband before storing the headphones away for long periods of time.
We sell replacement cushions for our Crossfade series line under Accessories. For Crossfade series we offer our Over-Ear Cushion and the XL cushions as well.
If your headphones are still within the 1 year warranty we recommend submitting a warranty form in the link below and sending the headphones in for repair.

Try resetting the headphones. Un-pair from all devices. While on, Hold the - and + buttons at the same time for 7 seconds until the headphones beep. Re-pair to a single device and test your headphones. Let me know if this solves your issue.

The Crossfade LP2 are part of our "Live Series" with heavy bass, while the Crossfade M-100 are part of our "Modern Audiophile" M-Class with more refined mids and highs. Crossfade M-100 Master is the next step in the evolution of the Crossfade M-100, featuring certified Hi-Res Audio for a more sophisticated pure analog sound signature. M-200 meanwhile is a reference studio headphone. Its balanced tonal range and audio accuracy make the M-200 the best choice for the cleanest and most precise sound when composing, mixing and mastering.
While Crossfade Wireless and Crossfade M-100 share the same driver, Crossfade Wireless have been tuned differently due to the internal VAMP amplifier. Crossfade Wireless is perceived as more “bass heavy” than Crossfade M-100. Crossfade 2 Wireless Codex Edition feature a new driver with Japanese CCAW coil which enables them to support Hi-Res Audio in wired mode. Crossfade M-100 Master share the same driver as Crossfade 2 Wireless Codex Edition, but have been tuned differently for a more sophisticated pure analog sound signature, ideal for critical listening and live mixing. To relieve the pressure, you can stretch the headband by bending it outwards (placing hands on the ends of the headband - not the ear cups). You may repeat this process until you're happy with a looser fit. You can also bend the headband inwards to make a tighter fit.
First, try both cords (if provided), making sure the 45-degree angled plug is plugged into your device and not your headphones. Second, test the headphones on multiple devices if possible. If the problem persists, please contact our Six-Star team.
Make sure you have the 45-degree plug inserted into your device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) and the straight end plug inserted into your headphones. You may also want to make sure your headphone socket on your device is clean and clear of debris.

As the ear cup housings on the M-200 are larger and flatter, so must the shields be. The M-200 shields therefore have a larger ‘safe space’ where we can color print or laser engrave your design or logo, but are currently not available for 3D printing. Please note that the Over-Ear Shield Kit is not compatible with the M-200.
If your computer and/or device has separate jacks, you will have to use the provided VoIP adapter (female to two-male jacks - labeled headphone and microphone) when plugging in your BoomPro, or else you may experience issues such as no sound or no-volume when using the BoomPro cable.
The 3.5mm plug on the BoomPro Mic is compatible with iOS devices, Android devices, and most computers/PC's. However, if the pin-assignment of the device is not matching up with the BoomPro's preset universal 4P pin-assignment, there is a chance the BoomPro will not work.

The best setting depends on whatever you’re listening to. V-MODA recommends starting with NO EQ modifications and with ANC ON (default setting) as a starting point, and then adjusting the EQ from there with the app to find the setting that’s right for you in the moment. M-200 ANC’s superb engineering will guarantee that any EQ setting will produce high quality sound!
We recommend using a 5A type adapter which is commonly used for charging smartphones. Even if you use a larger adapter with higher voltage, there is a safety function on M-200 ANC to curb charging and protect against any heat damage.

It does. However a 25% restocking fee applies to the purchase of custom color printed headphones, and a 50% restocking fee applies to the purchase of a color printed shield kit. If you have any doubts about your individual design, please refer your queries to the designer allocated to you via our concierge service. V-MODA is not responsible for any scratches or peeling of the color printed designs once the shields are in your possession. It is the customer’s responsibility to take care of the shields and prevent them from rubbing or scratching up against any other surface/object.
The color printed part of your shield will have a matte finish by default. If you are interested in getting a glossy finish on your design, please opt in for our concierge service and request it of your allocated designer.

Yes, we do not require that you upload your artwork in Photoshop or Illustrator format (though it is preferred). You are free to upload a normal image file (JPG, PNG, GIF, etc.) and our customs department can convert to Photoshop and Illustrator formats themselves.
Please remember to "rasterize" any text/fonts you may have, in case our computers do not have the same font files you are using.

The key thing to remember here is bigger is definitely better. While we don't have any required size, it's recommended that for best engraving results you have an image that is at least 300dpi and 1000px wide or tall. Anything smaller may not engrave as well.
No, it's not necessary to vectorize your image if you can't (or don't know how). Our customs department will be able to vectorize it in Illustrator themselves before engraving.
The rule of thumb here is that whatever is black on your image will get engraved as white, and whatever is white on your image won't get engraved at all (it will be the same color as the shield itself). So, keep that in mind while selecting/creating/uploading your image. If you don't know how to invert your image, do not worry, our customs department will be able to take care of that for you.
Due to the curvature of the shields, our engraving machine has limitations on how far to the edge of the shield it can engrave, and therefore it's recommended that you keep your design an 1/8" from the edges.

The key thing to remember here is bigger is definitely better. While we don't have a required size, it's recommended that, for the best results, your image should be at least 300dpi and 1000px wide. Anything smaller may not produce as sharp of a result.
To guarantee the best results, our color printing process should be used only on the central part of the shield. Please refer to our Color Printing Template for a precise guide. For uploaded designs extending from the top to the bottom of the shield, it’s not recommended to have solid color backgrounds as the color will tend to fade away towards the edge. It is also not recommended to have any text/font extend towards the edge of the shield as the text will become blurry and difficult to read (all text should remain within the “sweet spot” in the center of the shield)

No, our engraving machine only engraves in the color white (so any image/logo you submit will be engraved as white on the shield color you select).
The color printing process uses 3 layers of UV printing (primer, white and CMYK). All colors are printed using the CMYK process, making it possible to produce the entire color spectrum. Please note that the final colors printed on your shields may vary slightly from those you see on your screen/device, which is probably displaying RGB color.
Each kit contains two shields, along with six V-MODA screws and a screwdriver for easy assembly.
Laser engraving creates your design by using a specially-made laser to strip away the color of the aluminum shield. This means that your design will appear in either white, gray or silver (depending on the shield’s color) with the chosen shield color as the background. Color printing introduces color to the shield with ink, enabling you to create multicolored designs on your chosen shield.

For the ready-made designs, our designers have already selected various complementary color combinations for each design for you to choose from. For custom uploaded designs, you can print as many colors as you like, however minor editing may occur (such as the removal of the background, etc) to achieve the best possible results. In the event of that happening, your allocated designer will advise you.

It is possible that your mixer/receiver/device is incompatible with our current 1/4" adapter and/or our 1-Button and SharePlay cables. Please try using a standard audio cord (no microphone/splitter) or our CoilPro cable instead.
For headphones which have the TwistLock mechanism (M-200, Crossfade M-100 Master and Crossfade M-100), insert the balanced cable jack into the input and turn counterclockwise to secure it in place.
The balanced cable will only work with balanced-IN/OUT audio systems. Similar to Bluetooth codecs, both the audio source and the audio output need to be fully compatible to benefit from a high quality connection via a balanced cable.
