...the M-Class earbuds are more than just aesthetically-pleasing accessories. Their fit and finish, as well as their sound quality, are impressive. Before even plugging them in, you'll notice their build quality...

I can tell you that these are among the best sounding true earbuds I've heard, providing surprisingly good bass response, richer midrange than expected, and excellent detail. When compared to Apple's stock 'buds, the difference in audio quality is immediately noticeable -- V-MODA's offerings put out a warmer sound with more impact and presence, but without sacrificing detail. (Apple's earbuds initially appear to have more detail, but you soon realize that it's the lack of midrange and bass make that them sound that way; when comparing the two models side-by-side, Apple's headphones sound somewhat tinny.)

How do the Remix M-Class earbuds compare to Sennheiser's offerings? Although the MX-400 and MX-500 are clearly better than the iPod's stock 'buds, they don't have the bass response of the M-Class (which is, by the company's own admission, slightly emphasized to better fit the tastes of most consumers). The M-Class earbuds also sound a bit richer and warmer overall. (full review)

Bill - Texas:::
I own several sets of ear/headphones including Grado SR-125s, Shure E2Cs and a pair of UE-5cs - so my points of reference are good for comparison purposes.  I’ll tell you up front, I don’t care much what earphones look like; I care about how they sound.

These earphones are pretty amazing.  They beat the Shure EC2s hands down and are tons more comfortable.  I was amazed at what I could hear across the curve - they are so NOT like Apple earphones.  Bass response is excellent, but very balanced as opposed to the Griffin EarThumps which are hughly bass heavy and treble light (an understatement).  I would rate the overall sound quality as good as my Grados, and that’s saying something.

They are very well made and feel substantial as opposed to the plastic light of the Apple buds - and the sound is truly superior to any other bud type earphones that I have tried.  They are great everyday phones (did I say very comfortable) at a price that’s really a bargain.  Don’t throw these into the cheap ‘earbud’ basket and assume the quality is the same. If you do, you’ll be missing out on a great pair of earphones that are priced way under where they should be.  My daughter grabbed these from me, so I’m ordering another set.  Totally worth the money.

I am a Instructor of Digital/Analog audio technology at the Institute of Audio Research here in New York City. I am happy to endorse your Remix M-Class earbuds head phones which I purchased two weeks ago. I have listened to and tested many of these types of headphones and this is by far one of my favorites.
It passed all of the frequency test from 20Hz to 20KHz with a well balanced output at the low-medium-high frequencies. Nothing was distorted and the bass, mids and highs were all not overpowering. This to me is quality.
I told all my students, friends and colleagues to pick them up because they will be a big improvement over any other headphone that they are currently using with their portable iPods/MP3/WMA players. You also can use them with Pro-Audio gear but you need to put an attenuator/pad between the earbuds and the console/tape deck with a 1/4 inch stereo plug adapter.
This will allow you to listen to Pro-Audio equipment with Remix-m class. I tried both and they are great. I give them a thumbs up with 5 stars!

Honestly I wasn't expecting much.  Mainly got them because they look cool and I don't wanna announce to the world that I got an ipod on my person and ear buds are far less fussy than my Shure E4C and E5C (which I recently sold btw).  But man was I surprised!  The sound totally blew me away!  They're as 'musical' as the E4C.  Crisp highs and clear mids... What kind of black magic you working over there?

Audiophile quality? Sure, why not? I don’t have $300 to waste on top shelf earphones, and I doubt that they’d sound much better than the V-Moda earphones anyways.  They look awesome, sound great, and are very sturdy.  What more can I ask for? 

I have been listening to them nonstop, and they never cease to amaze me.

I've tried many headphones, and these definitely have the best bass I have heard in an earbud, and the mids and highs are incredible.  Overall the sound quality is better than my Bang & Olufsen A8s, which cost $160.  The chrome black colors match the ipod nano and PSP perfectly. The color combination is what should of came with the Nano/Psp.  Definitely highly recommended!

Just got my pair today and am listening to them as I type this. All I can say this is the best sounding set of ear buds I've ever bought. I'm not an audiophile (obviously) but rich deep, distortion free bass and well defined highs -- these do that very well IMO.

I have a pair of Etymotic ER-6 ear buds and did not like them (absolutely no bass) the highs were incredible, however. I've never had any luck with the 'audiophile' ear buds as they always lacked bass. They never sounded as rich or well balanced as my Sennheiser HD515 tukes. Since I'm not an audiophile, this is probably why they don't work for me.

I'm definitely going buy more of these in the near future -- I'm gonna get them while I can. I only hope these guys do really well and keep selling these things for a long, long time.  Great work v-moda!

I received two pairs (blue, pink) of V-moda earphones over 3 weeks ago and I have been listening to them ever since.

The audio range is quite good. It easily exceeds the Apple earphones with its deep rich sound and no distortion.  I especially like the rubber border which fits well in my ear as opposed to Apple's all-plastic body.  In short, a great product! I would highly recommend them.

When companies set out to offer iPod replacement headphones, they usually go in one of two directions. Some companies opt for expensive headphones that fundamentally alter the listening experience by using in-ear, over the head, or wireless designs. Others seek to offer inexpensive earbuds that physically resemble the standard iPod earbuds (usually in a wider color variety) but don't quite match their sound. With its Remix M-Class, v-moda has managed to split the difference with earbuds that function more or less the same as the iPod's standard earbuds but actually manage to offer better sound quality.

First of all, I'm flat-out impressed with the overwhelming show of good-will you expressed by sending me a bonus pair of the Remix headphones due to the delay of the BlingBlingBlack color.  This was something you really didn't have to do, and something I would never ever have expected from a company.  For that gesture alone, I'm already a very satisfied customer.

However, I was even more impressed that the headphones live up to what you've been advertising.  They sound phenomenal!  I'm not a huge fan of the in-ear type earbuds, of which I've gone through several different pairs trying to find the perfect balance of comfort, sound, and price.  I can be so picky, and I was frustrated and resigned to think that there would never be a superb set of earbuds that I didn't have to spend an ungodly amount for.

The search is over!  Your Remix headphones are, in my mind, perfect.

I'm a musician and I feel pretty confident of knowing what sounds good, and these sound great!  These are the first earbuds that sound full across the board, not just in top-end.  I feel complete now.

This is gonna be a bold statement: "Best Earbuds, PERIOD!"

I listen to Trance/House/Hip-Hop music which all have a lotta bass. These earbuds bring out the rich, deep bass you typically hear from stereo speakers. You don't get that buzzing distortion, you get from cheap earbuds or headphones. I definitely think they're worth fitty bucks. I've tried a good # of the earbuds on the market. These are by far the best IMHO.

Thank you for making such wonderful earbuds!  I have a wonderful set of over-the-ear headphones (Audio-Technica ATH-A900s), but they are fairly bulky and not well-suited for dragging them into and out of my office every day.  I had been getting back with the default Apple earbuds, but the sound quality was so-so at best.  Your earbuds sound outstanding and look great as well -- they will be my "road" solution from now on!

Can't say enough good things about the v-moda earphones. I received mine today via Canada Post (where I promptly had to pay the delivery driver PST and GST!) and at the first opportunity I did an A/B comparison between the Remix m-class and the stock iPod earphones. Needless to say, modaphones won the comparison hands down due to their superior clarity, warm tone and sturdy construction. Not to forget, of course, their stylish good looks and comfortable fit. I have yet to experience audiophile headphones such as the Shure, Etymotic etc. flavors, but so far what I've heard on the v-moda earphones is indeed pleasing. Good choice, Colin!

I couldn't wait to tell you how absolutely thrilled I was with the product.  I'm not a rocker at all -- I listen mainly to classical and film music, and the sound is incredible -- so much more 'present' than the Apple earphones, and so nice and clear compared to my old Koss headphones.  I will probably buy another pair very soon.  What a terrific product!
