Bass Fréq earbuds promise better bass response than you might normally expect from plain old earbuds. I slipped them on and immediately discovered that they weren't lying: I heard bass in songs where I'd never heard it before, reminding me that a portable music player is hardly the best place to hear songs as they were intended. These bass Freq headphones are crazy sick. I love them, if you like loud music and love bass, then these are the right things for you. "Bass Freq borrows the best comfort features from the (Sony) EX71... On audio, v-moda’s come up with a design that “pops” more than both the (Sony) EX71 and EX81 - as if the iPod’s equalizers were simultaneously set on bass boost and treble boost (aka Latin or Rock settings). There’s clearly a bit of added response and detail in Bass Freq across the spectrum - particularly a bit deeper and cleaner bass, and a bit crisper and sharper treble... We think it’s a very legitimate alternative to the best Sony and its many competitors have to offer in the $30-50 MSRP range, and we’d be inclined to pick it over the (Sony) MDR-EX71 phones without any question. If you’re looking for earphones that deliver punchy, interesting sound without much tuning, Bass Freq is worth checking out."

My head was swimming from all the different reviews, get these, get those, great sound, crappy sound, good bass, no bass etc on the same phones! I think the expensive studio monitor phones are great if you want flat music and don’t like much bass. Plus, I can’t see spending $200 plus on phones which might be over kill.
I went with the Bass Freq which I felt would provide some noise isolation and would stay in my ears when I went to the gym. They of course accomplish both very well. Great sounding phones for the money! Much more detail through the spectrum then the iPod stock buds which sounded somewhat muddy and muffled in comparison to your product.
Love your stuff and I’m looking forward to seeing what new products you’ll have in the future. Keep up the great work!
